Linx Media was hired to get people excited about 51 grand openings working with Legacy Marketing, a Chicago Experiential Marketing Company, and the client Famous Footwear. The solution was to provide a mobile marketing and promotions campaign through our sister company, Kontakt Mobile Marketing. Consumers were invited to text-to-play from social media postings, online ad buys, street teams, and local advertising. Upon the call-to-action of texting in, the consumer would receive a mobile play link to enter the promotion. The program was designed to drive people into stores to reveal their hidden game piece on their mobile device to see what they have won in the form of discounts and prizes. Up to 1,200 game plays at 51 separate grand opening locations were delivered.
